What is MyOpE ?
Maneglia Yves Online Php Explorer or MyOpE is a free Online Php explorer. It can browse folders to display file and image informations.
History :
MyOpE was first intended to be an online photo viewer. I wanted a simple php script that generates galleries of photos by just uploading them on my web site. As i didn't want a script to be put in each folder containing photos, MyOpE had to be able to navigate trough folders and became then an online file explorer. In the future, if i want it, MyOpE, will perhaps allow move, copy functions...
Features :
- Easily installable : just download and unzip MyOpE at top directory you want to explore (Be aware that your server must support php with GD)
- Show JPG/TIF thumbnail if present in Exif section of the photo (nowadays all camera put thumbnail in photos)
- Preview JPG/TIF images if no thumbnail present in Exif section of the photo (however for this the whole image must be loaded which can take a lot of time)
- Preview of GIF/PNG images as i consider they are usually not big pictures.
- Show user comment trough balloon window if present in Exif section of the photo
- Show file name
- Associate and show icon for each kind of file or folder
- Generate and show file or folder information (Type, Size, Last modified date) trough balloon window
- Autoadapt diplayed text and image size according to the users client window (calculate only once at start, but you can then zoom-in or zoom-out by changing the number value present in the address bar of your navigator).
- Navigate trough folder (you won't be able to navigate up to parent directory of where MyOpE script was installed)
- Easily customizable : you can change the explorer aspect (size and display rule of thumbnails, add other file type association, put your own icons... For further details, read readme.txt file)
